Unfortunately it took a close call by the Mayor for Ocean City to realize what a problem that bikes , both electric and traditional, have become. Adults on their road bikes and racing suits are as much of a problem as kids. I watched a pack of adults riding on Bay ave go through red lights at 24th St and Tennessee Ave without slowing down A patrol car was waiting at the Tennessee Ave light and did nothing. Maybe didn’t see them. The mayor can ask for more laws, but if the police don’t enforce them things wont change. Are we waiting for serious injury or worse? Pedestrians are just as bad
