When Trump campaigned in 2024 for the presidency he made a number of promises, among them: end the war in Ukraine within 24 hours of taking office; end the war in Gaza; bring grocery prices down and gas under $3 a gallon; make government more efficient by slashing $2 trillion; eliminate the Education Department. He didn't say he would accomplish those things if this or that happened, or if someone did or didn't do something. He flat-out promised and none of it came true. How to explain? Easy, simple, and undeniable. He lied.
