LIPSTICK ON A PIG. This is a phrase that has been around for a long time, and I believe I saw one of the most appropriate examples of it recently. On 7/30/25 Middle township ran a street sweeper up and down Johnstown Lane. WOW. The place looks fantastic. You can even see where the sweeper had to come away from the edges of the paved street to avoid the trees and shrubs that are growing over the road surface. Which can reduce this street to a single lane when 2 vehicles approach each other. By the way, the city was made aware of this problem back in 2022/2023. GOOD JOB. MY TAX DOLLARS AT WORK!
