I was pleased to see that France has recognized Palestine as a state. This will hopefully defeat Israel’s campaign of extermination and occupation of Palestine and facilitate a meaningful ceasefire. Amazingly, the US does not recognize Palestine as a state. Trump has been useless concerning Palestine, Israel and Ukraine. So it’s good to see some European leadership.
