With a little research I learned that NYC Mayoral candidate Mamdani received 500,000 votes to secure the Democrat nomination. The current number of active registered voters is approximately 4.7 million people. Mamdani’s primary win total is only slightly more than 10% of the population so people predicting his win are suffering from premature extrapolation. There are more than enough voters to prevent him from winning and everything says the more they see the more they don’t like.
