The historic recognition of the USS WWII Jacob Jones sinking can best be accomplished by a tasteful addition in the Soldiers & Sailors Park on Columbia ve., where Cape May honors our local and national honors who lost their life in service to our Nation. Seems to me to architect and committee are pushing a huge stand alone monument where their personal recognition is insistent with and overshadows the traditional historic event.
