Following a strike against the Holy Family Church, the only Catholic Church in Gaza, which left at least two dead, Pope Leo XIV issued an urgent call for an immediate ceasefire. The Catholic Church Agency, Caritas Jerusalem, issued a new appeal to the international community: “Once again, we urgently call for swift action to protect civilians, places of worship, and humanitarian spaces, and to ensure that people in Gaza have access to the most basic right: the opportunity to survive.” The killing of and cruelity to Civilians will only bring hard feelings around the World.
