The pedestrian causeway is a great idea. A planned boardwalk / Pacific Avenue connection has been around for a while. I remember seeing concept plans when Pacific Avenue was still a hub of commercial and off-boardwalk entertainment that would be worth the walk. What is the "Pacific Avenue Redevelopment Project"? Is the plan to continue to tear down commercial property and replace this valuable land with more South Philly style housing, with garages so small and driveways too short the residents can’t park a single car?
