In June 2025, FIVE (5) NJ teachers/staff were arrested for child abuse related charges. 1.) Hudson Co. charter school staffer accused of exposing himself; 2.) Morris Co. teacher arrested for assaulting a student; 3.) Sussex Co. teacher arrested for open lewdness in the classroom for sexting; 4.) Hudson Co. teacher arrested for sexting a 17 yr old boy; 5.) Cumberland Co. teacher arrested for Child Porn. Thus far this year (2025) FIFTEEN (15) NJ teachers/staff have been arrested for child abuse related charges. The crisis continues. No comment from the Governor or the unions.
