I can't believe that the city of Cape May would allow 3 new trees to be planted in the MIDDLE of the sidewalk opposite the new firehouse & library on Franklin St. This prevents wheel chair usage & impedes access for the elderly, families with strollers, infirmed, etc. It shows no common sense as these saplings will grow to impede pedestrian traffic even more as they grow wider & in turn may even exposes the city to possible risks of accidents that it might possibly incur. It seems like a huge waste of money for the addition of such a risk and one wonders how was this ever approved.
