I’m not a marine biologist or any research analyst, but, I’m a commercial fisherman for 60 years. Over those years, I, have seen a great decline of a lot of different marine species. The questions I have are simple and come from experiences I, have lived. Question #1 Why? are in some species say like blue crabs, a limit on females caught. Would that not improve the population since they make the crabs for the next generation. And that would be the same question for some of the other species that are on great decline. 40 years ago! Me and a few friends crabbing, the catch is a lot less.
