I am very much in favor of Medicaid reform. The program is full of fraudulent recipients. I worked in long term care and saw first hand how middle class families "protected their assets" in order to qualify for Medicaid for their elderly parent. It was infuriating. Middle class people should "pay their own way" and not expect my dollars support them. I hate middle class subsidies.- state college tuition, Non-working spousal Medicare and SS. I hate them all. And to top it off, some of those same people "collecting" don't want to pay their share of taxes. What hypocrites.
