Good job done by Lower Township on the bayside 3rd of July festival, a fun time was had by many. However what was with the two cops per car at each street end who just sat there for the whole event. They had barricades to block cars so what was the point of wasting so many officers to sit inside their cars? Also what was with the trash trucks being parked at the other end of the street for the entire time. They didn’t even collect the trash that was overflowing from cans less than an hour into the event and they didn’t bother to move to let out vendors from Beach Drive. Lots of wasted OT $$$$
