I just received a boot-licking email from the SS Admin "applauding" and "celebrating" the tax cuts that will make SS tax-free for more recipients who have other income. No mention that it will speed the insolvency of the program because less tax money will go to the trust fund. Instead, it absurdly says "this legislation reaffirms Pres. Trump's promise to protect Social Security", then has the gall to claim the agency "remains committed to providing timely, accurate information...to ensure beneficiaries understand how this legislation may affect them." It's Orwellian garbage.
