Cars do not exist to kill people, but rather, for transportation. Swimming kills people sometimes if they drown, but surely banning swimming would be ridiculous. But the purpose of a gun, especially an AR15, is to do bodily and often mortal harm to as many people as possible as quickly as possible. In the rural US, where pub. transp. is quite poor, one could say that one needs a car. Does one need to kill people?
