At a City Council meeting a few months ago, a city official said they were appealing to the GS Parkway commission to eliminate the toll at exit 4, which was then 70 cents each way. I can drive up and down the parkway 17 miles to Sea Isle City for free, but driving back and forth from Cape May to Rio Grand is now 85 cents each way. This makes no sense and it discriminates against people and busnesses. It incourages people / shoppers to drive up to Court House to avoid the tolls at Rio Grande. Why is this toll still in place? It's totally unfair.
