The Social Worker from Crest Haven Nursing and Rehabilitation Center just sent me a courtesy email to remind me that my Dementia stricten Mother is utilizing Medicaid as her primiary source of reimbursement for their services and that I should begin to consider my options if this funding is no long available. OMG, how many South Jersey Families could be effected like ours and what are we to do as she already burned through her savings and sold her house to care for herself in earlier years? She had to be destitude to even qualify for Medicaid. Now they will take the Medicaid funds away!
