It is impossible to believe that a satisfactory agreement could not be reached with the city & Chamber for the Welcome Center. What’s even more surprising is that Mayor Mullock claims to have been surprised by this outcome. How could he say the city has long supported the Welcome Center when there was no attempt to work with the Chamber to keep it opened, after 23 years of exemplary service? How can a city like Cape May with as many thousands tourists visiting each year not have a welcome center representing the interests of so many diverse businesses. BIG MISTAKE!!
