Trump is considering giving parents a $5000.00 incentive to have a baby. I ask, who is going to cover the rest of the 300,000 to 400,000 dollars it costs to raise a child to age 18? $5000 might cover Trump’s tariff/tax on items like shoes, clothes, cribs, car seats, strollers etc. but I doubt it. Good luck convincing people to have babies for the paltry sum of 5 grand. That doesn’t cut it in today’s world.
