Officials say the siren is “tired of conforming to the tyranny of punctuality.” Borough officials say The town is currently considering updating all clocks to reflect “West Wildwood Standard,time” which is exactly seven minutes behind reality—and possibly the spouters watch. When reached for comment, the siren responded by screaming loudly for 30 seconds, seven minutes late as usual.
