Our Company received this type of email message from multiple suppiers on May 1st as a result of Trump's Tariff Liberation Day: "To maintain our operational integrity and continue delivering the service and quality our customers rely on, we have made the decision to implement a tariff surcharge. This temporary surcharge is in lieu of a tariff cost passthrough and protects our customers from experiencing the full impact of the broad tariff rates, some of which are very high." This is going to be a Summer of higher prices and emptier shelves. Boy, am I tired of winning already.
