Does Cape May County care about animals? Is neglect, pain and suffering considered acceptable by county prosecutors, code enforcement and police officers? A family in Middle Township seems to be in the clear as they are permitted to own cats. These “pets” are underweight, flea infested, sick and neglected. In the past this family was convicted of over 200 counts of animal cruelty. ONce again, over 40 cats and dogs covered in feces, sick and starving were brought into the County Animal Shelter. There are rumors of a plea deal so, these people can have pets. Shame on Cape May County.
