So the Mayor and Council of SIC were called out this morning on the radio for their vocal stance opposing free beach access for surfers and fishermen. Apparently we were the only shore community to take this position. It would be nice to be recognized on the public airwaves for something positive instead. Not the image that we want but that image of a great year round classy shore community seems to have evaporated over the years. I suppose it’s a question of leadership.
