I am a server working in Cape May and I am absolutely opposed to ending the tip credit for employers and enforcing regular minimum wage. I earn a comfortable living as things are, without drowning in student loan debt. If the tip credit ends, people will likely stop tipping and my take-home pay will be reduced by over 70%. I certainly will not work such a demanding job for less money. The Cape May County restaurant scene will be decimated and the impact will be felt heavily on our economy, which relies on tourism.
