Maybe instead of paying two full time construction officials over $300,000 in salaries plus benefits the city should hire a grant writer. The construction office doesn’t bring in that much money in permits to cover those salaries. A grant writer would be looking for “free” money to improve the town. It really doesn’t take a real administrator to figure this out.
