We are wondering why the top of the emergency alert siren towers in North Wildwood and Anglesea were capped.Was it because it hosted an Osprey family nest this past summer season? The siren was never heard this year( thank God). It’s a shame because it was such a pleasure seeing the newborn birds grow and eventually leave the nest with mom and dad.There must be a good explanation for restricting what seemed to be a instinctive, ingenious effort on behalf of mother nature’s way for the birds. Oh well.
