Regarding the Spout Off saying that Boomers have destroyed the country (world?) and left nothing good. When I was a younger, the Cuyahoga river in Cleveland was so toxic it routinely caught on fire. Eagles, Osprey and hundreds of other species were on the brink of extinction. Pollution in many cities made the air unbreathable and water undrinkable. Boomers gave us the Clean Water Act, the Clean Air Act, the Endangered Species Act, the EPA. On other fronts, 18 year olds given the vote and the military draft was ended. Generations are not monolithic in how they think.
