China, Russia, and North Korea continue to pose an increasing threat to the U.S. That's why the "America first" mentality is both foolish and dangerous. What does that "philosophy" say to our allies? It tells them that the U.S. is more important than you, our allies, are. It tells them that they are after-thoughts. If China, Russia, or North Korea threaten your country, you can't count on us to help or defend you. That being the case, we can't count on our allies to help or defend us if we ever need their help against countries that are our enemy.
