The recent man hunt for a fugitive in PA once again demonstrates either how lax are gun laws are or how people are not capable of properly securing their weapons-the fugitive is reported to have stolen an unsecured gun from a garage even though it was well publicized the fugitive was in the area. Now as the result of an unsecured gun the risk to the public and the police has greatly increased. I keep hearing guns make us safer but I do not see how.
