On behalf of all of the small businesses in Cape May, we'd like to thank the police dept for finally showing up last week. After rampant shop lifting problems throughout the City's retailers and absolutely ZERO police presence to act as any deterrent, the police finally showed up the week after Labor Day. The problem was the police showed up ONLY to write as many parking tickets as they could. The weekend after Labor Day. When they know it's nothing but business owners and staff parking. Bravo, Cape May. You guys have once again solidified your 'disrespect for our voting base' reputation.
