The talk about a parking garage at the school on Lafayette St makes complete sense. Why would someone assume that it was an "entitled second home owner" that suggested that ? Where else does the City of Cape May own land that is not being utilized to its potential ? Already have the Jitney's setup and teachers priority on level one or disabled parking seems like a grand idea. Maybe the elected officials can take credit for this smart suggestion and roll with it ! We aren't the only historic town in this country with parking issues, local architects could offer pro bono renditions.
