Businesses that have installed tip jars in establishments where the “service” consists of handing something over the counter, please remove them. They are unbecoming of your establishment. There is a vast difference between someone who earns a normal wage expecting a tip and offers minimal “service” and those that earn much less, and traverse the distance between the kitchen and customer, that may include many diversions to the bar.
