Born and raised in CMC the argument of 2nd homeowners being allowed to vote in local elections has gone on for many years. I was a 2nd homeowner in another State and purchased that property knowing full and well I could not vote there. You register to vote where you are a full time resident. You don't like the local gov't, there are 2 options. Become a full time resident or sell and move. I personally wouldn't want a part-timer making and voting on decisions that affect full time residents. You purchased the home knowing you had no vote so deal with.
