I just got my city of ocean city tax bill.Along with it was a letter from Mayor Jay Gillian which said."As most of you already know,the Danish company Orsted(ocean wind)wants to run a transmission line from its proposed offshore wind farm through Ocean City.To help the company,the state stripped Ocean city of the ability to review and approve the transmission line route." I was stunned,where does the state of New Jersey get the arrogance to do this?and why did they strip Ocean City of its right and ability to review and approve this foreign company from doing this if it's so safe to everyone?
