A recent spout defended the video game class that will be offered this fall at LCMR (after they set up the gaming computers they spent $80k on). The spouter stated that the class would consist of teaching how to code/program to DESIGN video games. Wrong. If that were true, it would be worthwhile. Its for kids to PLAY video games. Another spout said that its an extracurricular CLUB for eSports, and most schools have eSports clubs. Wrong. If it were a club that would be great. Its a class during the school day where kids get academic credits. I'll post the course description as proof.
