After watching the FBI directors shameful performance there is not a doubt in my mind that the FBI is irredeemably broken, and needs to start over. They have lost the trust of the American public, and for me, the tipping point was their interference in two presidential elections. I would never offer them assistance with anything, and I just saw nothing. They have proven themselves untrustworthy politically motivated, and most concerning, liars with a badge. Cooperate with unAmericans? Surely you jest. Cut off the money, let them wither and start over. Straighten up and fly right or get out.
