A new bill introduced will put landlords at risk of property damage and non paid rent by illegal tenants. The effort to expand housing rights to undocumented immigrants was led by Democratic State Sen. Ann Gillespie, who argued the bill would make sure people are not "unjustly denied housing."Well if I were a landlord I would simply not rent to anyone without valid identification and work history. Done and done.
