The director of Greater Wildwood Hotel Motel Association made a statement, quoted in an article in the Herald, about dark stairwells. He complained that businesses had dark stairwells during the power outage, and the danger that caused. How can that be? There are annual fire inspections, commercial buildings must have battery lighting for all exits. The owners of those properties should have failed inspection, the safety of their employees and customers is at risk.
