Sea Isle City

Does anyone test the water at the beaches after a major rain event? The roads all flood and the rainwater is flushed into the ocean carrying a Petri dish assortment of bacteria, feces, and pollutants. Then we all go swimming when the sun comes out the next day. I’m not an environmental scientist but common sense tells me we are swimming in a cesspool until several tide changes. It’s about time someone in the town paid attention. ( the outflow pipes are really ugly)
