I don’t think some people down here appreciate what we have. The state replenishes our beaches, build jetties and protect our dunes. Why? If they don’t there wouldn’t be any beaches. Go look at the outer banks, NC they do not replenish and houses are going in the ocean, I have been there I know. The same people who yell now about flooding in the streets or heaven forbid don’t replenish to save their houses don’t believe in climate change. We are lucky nothing major has happened here, but we live on the coast!
