I am deeply concerned about an event reported in the 7/5 edition of the Herald. It is alleged that a 16 yo male worker (Wildwood Boardwalk store) was arrested and charged with sex crimes against a "13" yo patron. The arrest is based solely on a "concerned citizen's" report of a "suspicion", and "catching up with the girl" after she left the store, who "told of being fondled". He was arrested and charged without a known victim; just a citizen suspicion? Where is verification and investigation of the event? Is this only hearsay, or even fabrication? Worrisome. Poor policing, or reporting.
