Every night last week the boardwalk became madness after dark. Groups of teens travelling in packs of 20. General rough housing and horseplay. Throwing footballs. Loud, drunk. One kid on the fourth was setting off high grade fireworks from the middle of the boards. We saw kids running with about an 8 foot flag on a pole, who knows where they got that. Not one police officer in sight. Not to mention the reek of pot every 10 feet. We walked off the boards and went down Atlantic ave. Something needs to be done. The boardwalk is no longer safe at night.
