My family and I arrived for our Cape May vacation. We are renting near New Jersey Ave and Trenton Ave, so we walked to the closest beach which was Trenton Ave beach. To my surprise there were no lifeguards on or near - only at Philadelphia Ave beach and Poverty Beach. When I read your local paper this afternoon, you city manager said the city is hiring lifeguards and has covered all of its beaches. None on Trenton Ave beach today. It's misleading especially with young children and my elderly mom. ???
