Not sure if many are aware, but we gave up a lot of rights when the patriot act passed in the name of fighting terrorism. Democrats have used that, along with the fact that everyone carry’s a wealth of information around with them in their phone. Where once warrants and searches were required to obtain these nuggets of our lives, now they are for sale, and the law is buying, effectively bypassing the fourth amendment safety against search and seizure. You thought the line in Snowden about collecting “all of it”: was a joke? No, it’s exactly like that. Feeling warm or fuzzy yet?
