The MTHS students that vandalized the school got off easy because all students in that school get off easy. Teachers stop writing referrals because nothing happens or the penalty is way less than it should be. Worse yet they conduct “investigations”, not on the students but on the teachers. They actually take the student’s word over the teachers. Students learn real fast how to play the administrators and get away with almost anything they want.
