I grew up in the 70s in Wildwood and most of the Police were so nice. There were plenty of teens, drugs, alcohol, noise, etc. If they didn’t like what you were doing they took you for a ride in the Police car, read you the riot act and let you go a couple blocks away. It made you reconsider your actions. Now it is either ignore or arrest.
