Thanks to all the homeless advocates, our legislators, and interested parties that are trying to solve the homeless, mental illness, and affordable housing issues. Middle township is right in prohibiting tents and temporary structures. It only encourages people to do what they want and degrades neighborshoods. Rent caps, rent control, and laws that punish landlords do not work. Society that provide legal and illegal drugs do not work. Legislators must pass laws that protect landlord rights , and provide incentives to invest in housing that is affordable. Has anyone spoken to landlords?
