All newspapers in area including the Herald have pictures of fishermen holding onto their striped bass catches for pictures. Almost every one shows mouth open and gills wide open . A note says it will go back in water . The chances of that striped bass surviving once it gets thrown back is less than 25% as with mouth and gills wide open it is rapidity dying. Take a picture in water right after being caught and not up in the air on the beach . Show some respect for the fish allowing you to catch it
Moderator's Note: I am pretty sure the fish did not" allow" itself to be caught ,but I hope fishermen who plan to throw their catch back in the water heed your advice.
