Why do we pay for paid EMT's, and pay for ambulances, when they constantly have to rely on volunteers, firefighters who aren't EMT's, and now a new "junior" program of minors who have no business in EMS? Real good exposing a 16 year old to a gory accident scene or DOA patient. Township insurance going to fund the PTSD claims of juveniles? Fully fund the paid EMS department, or outsource it to a commercial agency and be done with this ideocracy.
