To the Villas spouter who says civilians should not be able to own "weapons of war". AR-15-style semiautomatic weapons are civilian versions of military weapons. The AR-15, like its military version, is designed to kill people quickly and in large numbers, hence the term assault-style rifle. I agree these weapons of war should be banned as they have no place in a civilized society.
